Christian Pulisic came off the bench to score a pair of second-half goals and lead AC Milan to a 3-2 comeback win over Torino in Serie A on Monday.

The result puts Milan back in first place in Serie A, level on points with Napoli, but ahead on goal difference by one.

Pulisic got his first right after coming off the bench, calmly slotting home from close range to get Milan back on level terms with the hosts.

His second goal 10 minutes later was even better as Pulisic hit a first-time volley from Samuele Ricci's cross to put the finishing touches on a Milan counter-attack.

Torino had taken early control of the game with a goal from Nikola Vlasic and a penalty by Duván Zapata inside of 20 minutes before Milan halved the deficit with a thunderous long-range strike by Adrien Rabiot to make it 2-1 at halftime.

Pulisic sat out Milan's game on Nov. 29 -- a 1-0 win over Lazio in Serie A -- with a muscular problem, but returned midweek in a 1-0 Coppa Italia loss as Lazio took revenge for their league loss four days earlier.

The two goals gave Pulisic seven for the season in Serie A, making him the joint top scorer in Italy's top flight along with Inter Milan's Lautaro Martínez.
